Yep,

I heartily agree with everything said in the previous posts. (Even Bill's comment).ROFL

Bigoak,

By the way mate, just thought you'd like to know that last night's minimum was 15c and today's maximum was around 28c with clear blue skies, the high tide was at about 6am and the fish were biting.

Rick.

Although boobs is an impressive drawing card I have to say that the administration of the site is great and the membership's international flavour appeals most to me.

The fact that there are guys here that will take the time out of their day to advise me and even go as far as to go veiw potential purchases for their Z peers in remote areas (such as me - thanks again by the way) impresses me as well.

You guys are great. I wasn't planning on "tooting my own horn" by starting a thread like this, but, it certainly makes me feel good to know that our club has become such a great resource for the Z. Thanks for the compliments!

I really wanted to know more specific things about the club that you like... I'm planning on putting together a welcome-page for new users to check out cool parts of our site. Something that says, "Hi, and welcome to the club... if you want to check out neat parts of the club, be sure to visit this page....."

A welcome page for new users signed by all the members... What do you think?

Does anyone have secret areas or shortcuts you want to share?

Secret areas? Didn't know there were any. It would be very difficult to find another site that was set up as well, or as easy to navigate as this one. There is a vast amount of material here, but I think everything is self explanatory and easily found. A "new users" page is a good idea. I have noticed some new users unintentionally stepping on someone elses thread with a question, instead of searching or starting their own thread after a search. We have all been guilty of that at one time or another. Some useful protocall could be included into a "New User Page".

On a side note, another thing I have gotten into the habit of doing, is scrolling to the bottom of the page and checking out the similar threads. It is sometimes helpful and always interesting reading.

I don't think you are going to get a great deal of suggestions Mike, because of the hard work and careful thought you have already put into this site.

Personally, I used the Photo Gallery quite a bit when I first got my Z and needed to get some new wheels on her ASAP. I wanted to see what different wheel types looked like on the 240Z, and was able to see plenty of options on both the "Wheels and Tires" gallery:

as well as the Members gallery:

This really was a great help in deciding what wheels I wanted to put on the Yellow Z! :classic: Also, this is by far the most civil board I read on a regular basis. Other car and hobby boards seem to have much more bickering, etc that we do here. Guess that just shows that Z-car enthusiasts are a great bunch overall! :classic:

Everything you guys already said, and...for those of you that have an "upgrade" or improvement to offer other members please post them as links. Headlight, dashboard light and turn signal upgrades come to mind.

Love the site...thanks for letting me in.

The best thing about this site is the amazing people I've met and the great friends I've made. No matter what my questions are, there is always someone willing to help me find the answer.

I love every one of you!
