westpak Posted May 1, 2008 Share #13 Posted May 1, 2008 Let's see if I got that: You graduated for Colegio Anglo-Columbiano (in Bogota) and your a cousin of Enrique Penalosa? And you met other Columbians at the Z Convention in Daytona last year? I don't use my Spanish much anymore so it's not as easy as it once was. very good except Colombia with an o not u

bigoak Posted May 1, 2008 Share #16 Posted May 1, 2008 Where are the pic's of the Celica.? Sold my 72 Mustang to buy a new 76 Celica Fastback. After 2 years traded it for my 72Z and have been a Z person ever since. The Celica Fastback was fun but underpowered. Haven't seen one in 20 years. I wonder how many are still around? My wingnut grandmother had a 71 or 72 Celica...when I turned 16 (in 1987) she offered it up for me as the manual steering was getting a bit much for her. As she was a pain-in-the-butt wingnut, my father decided that the 71 Pinto station wagon with the dented engine block (dropped the head when replacing after a gasket change) would suffice.Hence the ignominious beginning of my career as a driver in a crap brown 1971 Pinto wagon (so cool in high school)...Any wonder I'm now collecting Z's like I've lost my mind...simple over-compensation...
