Posted May 7, 200816 yr comment_246521 What length wheel studs is everybody running? Heck for that matter what size? I've seen reference to non-Nissan sizes too. After swapping the stock steel wheels for 16x7 Panasports I am concerned that the studs aren't long enough. I'm temporarily using open ended lug nuts and when tightened I'm only getting about 8 threads of contact. I've read that it should be more like 10 to 12. Also, I'm trying to get into SCCA Solo 2 and I really don't feel that this stud/lug combo is the safest route. So anyway, I'm going to order studs and nuts just as soon as I get some input from my friends here at the best damn Z site on the internet! May 7, 200816 yr comment_246529 One of the past threads talked about Nissan Quaes threads being the same but longer, and RX7 being the same but even longer as I recall. Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28024-wheel-studs-and-panasports/#findComment-246529 Share on other sites

May 7, 200816 yr Author comment_246537 Thanks Will! The Quest ones sound like a good place to start. Now I'll need to figure out what year Quest to go with. I'll swing by the dealer and see what I come up with.
