Posted May 10, 200816 yr comment_246808 Does anyone know if there is a source for the chrome end pieces for the passenger side door pull strap. My strap is fine, however it's missing the end covers. Found several on Ebay but they include the strap which I don't need and cost $30+.Thanks for any help.Randy Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28053-chrome-end-pieces/ Share on other sites
May 10, 200816 yr comment_246811 Randy, I've never seen the chrome screw covers offered separately either. Nissan sells the grab handle as an assembly with the trim covers, and I think that's the only way to get them. May 11, 200816 yr comment_246978 Randy, I was looking for those same pieces for a while myself. I finally bit the bullet and bought the entire setup off of ebay. May 12, 200816 yr comment_247089 Is there a way to recrome the ones you have? I have a set that are peeling, and thought that a bumper rechrome company would be able to refinish them. Possible? May 12, 200816 yr comment_247092 Bumper shops can't do it, they are vacuum-plated plastic. There are places that can re-plate them, but the cost far exceeds buying a complete new grab handle from Nissan. May 16, 200816 yr comment_247558 The pull strap including the chrome bits is available at Courtesy Parts in Tx. I have dealt with them quite often. Ask for David as he is the S30 guru. I believe I paid around $22 each for these straps. Part number is 80950-E4100 and labeled as a grip assy.
