June 18, 200816 yr comment_251125 Not going for the "Ricer look" just shopping. Thanks for the link. Too bad...I'm sure I could find a link for a 5 inch glass pack exhaust with a bonus bright red vacuum hose kit...just what you'd need... June 18, 200816 yr comment_251184 Well, I totally failed trying this last night. I used my fingers mostly but also tried it with a flat screw driver too. I'm going to try this tonight:http://www.cartestsoftware.com/fz1/images/wgfspeedotach03.jpgWish me luck!Very carefully pull it straight away from the assembly. It then presses back on.Tom Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28088-msa-white-gauge-faces/?&page=2#findComment-251184 Share on other sites
June 18, 200816 yr comment_251218 Okay, now my feelings are hurt Just kidding, to each his own I guess, I wasnt going after the ricer look but I guess you can classify these as rice Then again, alot on here classify white gauge faces as rice as well I found this link from Dave on his experience with the gauge faces from MSA http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=28936 I had it saved before going with the speedhut faces. Here is a pic of some white speedhut gauges for comparison shopping. I figured by the time you go through the overlays (and fitment issues), the painting the inside of the housing, the upgraded LED bulbs (which in my opinion still dont look all that great unless you string more than one together), I might as well just get the faces I bought and be done with it. I havent installed them so viewing the needle is a question mark although I have read several posts that you can see them. June 19, 200816 yr comment_251249 Good news and bad news. Good news: the spoon idea to remove needle worked great! Bad news: The 20 dollar ebay gauges are all too big and not aligned correctly. See pic! errgh! I got what I paid for! Well, I totally failed trying this last night. I used my fingers mostly but also tried it with a flat screw driver too. June 19, 200816 yr comment_251279 Screw it, I'm making my own using photoshop and photo paper. I'd rather invest on my turbo build. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28088-msa-white-gauge-faces/?&page=2#findComment-251279 Share on other sites
