Posted May 14, 200816 yr comment_247374 I found some sites that have some interesting products. Here's one that sells studs that have a swivel locking knob on top like you see on pocket books. Here's another site that sells both Pirelli and Elasbelt webbing for early 240Z seats. They also sell vinyl material that looks like carbon fiber for you carbon fiber hood zealots. May 14, 200816 yr comment_247382 The Swivel Studs are used by Roadsters, except instead of the self-tapping screw, it's a machine thread w/nut. The Roadster guys refer to them as "Twisties", while the "Posties" are the "Lift the Dot" Single Studs, also with machine thread. Thanks for the link;Enrique Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28106-interior-products-of-interest/#findComment-247382 Share on other sites
May 15, 200816 yr comment_247435 The swivel studs are commonly used on old canvas applications... I think my old MGA & 100-6 both used them and I know for sure my old M38A1 used them (because I replaced a bunch of them...). Very typical attachment device for '50's vintage vehicles, and I'm sure others as well. Great for applications where a no-tools on/off is needed.
