Hi Rich. AN old Geezer once told me to get and use this,

Hey...."AN old Geezer"? Perhaps you were really referring to "A wise and far more experienced gentleman"LOL

Seriously - search this board for "My Car Was Stolen" or "Stolen Z Car"... or "Damn":stupid:

FWIW,

Carl B.

one with 205-50-16's one with 225-50-16's and one soon to have 205-55-16's which I think will be the perfect size (anyone running 205-55-16's that can comment on that tire?)

I am running 205/55x16 on 7" wheels on the front of mine with Toyo Proxes R1R's. I think it is a great fit, no clearance issues. The trial fit on the rear I think looks better than the 16x8's with 225/50 tires.

I would have had 205/55x16 on 7" all round but a stock count error by the rim supplier on the 16x7's saw him offer 2 16x8's at the same price and with the ozzy $ taking a dive the next shipment would have been to expensive and several months away.

Cheers

Warren

That would be me BAJCSI, I remember seeing you wave......what do you own? It's the same green Z in the Hampton show.....It won 1st in the stock 240Z class. My white Z took 2nd.

Ah ok, I think we chatted a little on here about a year or two ago. So yea, that's cool. Your 240Z was sweet and had a great sound.

As for mine, I've got a 1977 280. It's coming along slowly but surely. Mechanically, I'm still working out the kinks. Upgrading the euro pulley (after a whopping 50 miles) to a BHJ unit with the integrated timing wheel. Still tuning the webers a bit. Clunk in the rear (everything is NEW that would be clunking except my LSD), etc. I've got to get my dad to fab a new bracket this weekend for the trigger wheel sensor while I'm in Newport News on Saturday. If we get that made, I should be able to put a few miles on the car Sunday evening. I'm also still having a slight overheating issue. Anyway, I'll get it worked out soon enough.

I'm not going to finish paint and body till next spring I think, maybe the fall. So for now, my fenders (which have already been straightened and hammered and such) will be flat black, the rest of the car red. You'll know me when you see me on the road. haha

See, it runs. Now I just need to drive it!

You guys all realize this was the show from 2 years ago right? :) It was a much better turnout then this past years show.

Apparently I failed to look at the year ;) Oh well. Still, sweet cars. How many were out this year?

I live a quarter mile down the road from where I saw you.......stop by sometime if you're riding that way and we'll chat Z's. Guy

Sounds good, will do. What side of the road should be I be staring at looking for your car?

Warren, are those Rota RB-R's

They are RB's on the front and RB-R's on the rear. I like the dish on the RB-R's which also give a nicer shape to the spokes

Here are some pics of the RB-R's on the rear

Guy, you are my hero. You have a fantastic collection of Z cars and Brandon's is one of my favorite 510s. Let me know if you want to adopt a 43 year old Z nut. LOL

I can't wait to see the gold one even if only in photos.
