Posted May 21, 200816 yr comment_248170 I put a new cold air intake on my 280 and now it seems like the idle is set to low or something. So here is my question... Do I have to adjust the idle to the larger amount of air now entering the motor or is there another problem im going to have to deal with??? Let me know what you think... May 21, 200816 yr comment_248275 If the above-idle throttle position is good......basically runs well but, idles low, then just turn the idle adjust screw in a little to bring your idle up.Tom Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28174-idle-problems/#findComment-248275 Share on other sites
May 24, 200816 yr comment_248617 did you make sure the rubber elbow to the intake pipe doesn't have any cracks in it? mine did and it caused my car to idle really bad .
