Tim 76' 280Z Posted May 21, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 21, 2008 I put a new cold air intake on my 280 and now it seems like the idle is set to low or something. So here is my question... Do I have to adjust the idle to the larger amount of air now entering the motor or is there another problem im going to have to deal with??? Let me know what you think... 240ZX Posted May 21, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 21, 2008 If the above-idle throttle position is good......basically runs well but, idles low, then just turn the idle adjust screw in a little to bring your idle up.Tom
Cornbreadxd Posted May 24, 2008 Share #3 Posted May 24, 2008 did you make sure the rubber elbow to the intake pipe doesn't have any cracks in it? mine did and it caused my car to idle really bad .
