i wanted to change the hazard and dimmer switch on my 240Z...

it looks as if i may need to take the dash out to get access to behind the switches...

is there and easier way?......i haven't taken a really good look yet but wanted to know the easy way of changing these switches..

Don't think you would have to take out the dash to get the switches out. Might need to be a contortionist to get your hand up behind the dash while laying on your back on the floor though.

It would be easier to take out the heater control panel and go through there if you can't reach them from below. Taking the heater control panel out isn't an easy job by any means, but it sure beats taking out the whole dash. And you will still have to work by feel most of the time as you won't be able to see what you are doing once you get your hands in there.

Good luck.:ermm:

I'd also like some help on this one as my hazard lights dont work ( :finger: :stupid: ) and I might need to look at the wiring beneath the dash...

Hazards!!!!

My 73 didn't come equipped! Is this another anomoly in RHD models?

Oh? LOL then maybe that's why mine aren't working!!!

But in earlier discussions we found that that is what the top switch just behind the steering wheel on the left side (in a RHD car) is for...
