June 4, 200816 yr comment_249768 I have a 79 ZX and the guy i bought it from found a mounting kit for a single din. Best I can say is find an audio shop and see if they can make something custom for you. they should be able to do something that looks good and fits correctly. June 4, 200816 yr comment_249770 The aftermarket mounting kit is just a flat ABS panel to fit the radio pod and cover the extra space-trim a piece of cardboard as a template and cut one out of plywood, plastic, or sheet metal(brushed aluminum would keep a large part of the stock look). Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28263-radio/#findComment-249770 Share on other sites

October 3, 200816 yr comment_262321 do a google search om Retro sounds. They make one you won't need to cut your dash for. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28263-radio/#findComment-262321 Share on other sites
October 16, 200816 yr comment_263531 I've seen what I believe are some dash kits with face places for the 280ZX on ebay. Do a search for 280zx radio and they should come up. Hope this helps!
