I have a 1975 280Z and I don't know what these are for? I noticed that the hoses are broken in my car and I don't know how to and where to re connect them.

Does someone have a diagram I can use to figure out how this stuff is supposed to work and how it is connected.?

I have attached a picture form another car to illustrate.

Thanks...

The white palasic tank is the vacuum tank, and the solonoids are to control the vacuum the tank accumulates-in a stock car, these work the doors in the hvac system controlling where the air flows. If you don't have a/c/defrost/heat the dissconnection of these could well be the issue...

This picture should help you out some...if you look on the bracket that holds the two F.I.C.D valves (passenger side fender well) it's marked as to which line is which...(I.E. - S1, S2, C, D) Have marked up a couple of pictures showing the connections...I also have a 1975 280Z, so this should be right on the money...as far as connections go...Still looking for a better picture that shows the opposite side connections for reference 2.

Webdawg1, Thanks for the diagram. This should help me get started in figuring out how the lines are to be connected.

hls30. Thanks. I do have the ac, heater, defroster. I noticed that some of the vaccum hoses were broken or completely missing. I would like to use my ac eventually once I have the car running.

The picture attached should help out a little bit more with the connections for the F.I.C.D valves (Reference 3) Also line "C" turns into line "S" after it passes thru the grommet in the firewall.
