September 4, 200816 yr comment_259207 Looks like he obviously read Carl's last post and re-listed it for the 7K regardless of condition!Regards,Astrohog Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28273-383-listed-on-ebay/?&page=2#findComment-259207 Share on other sites
September 4, 200816 yr Author comment_259209 On the other hand..... 69 Production Year examples seem to bring $7K+ no matter their condition or completeness.I would gladly take $7k for #331, but that's not going to happen. I may have it sold by the weekend though.-Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28273-383-listed-on-ebay/?&page=2#findComment-259209 Share on other sites

January 3, 200916 yr comment_270213 Is that the correct airbox for a 69? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28273-383-listed-on-ebay/?&page=2#findComment-270213 Share on other sites
January 3, 200916 yr Author comment_270214 Is that the correct airbox for a 69?No, the series 1 airboxs don't have the summer/winter flap in the front or the hose on the bottom. The earliest of these don't have any stickers on the top either. I don't think there are a lot of things on this car that are correct for a 1969 production car though.-Mike Edited January 3, 200916 yr by Mike B Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28273-383-listed-on-ebay/?&page=2#findComment-270214 Share on other sites
January 3, 200916 yr comment_270215 I thought that looked fishy. My 01/70 has no stickers or summer/winter flap. Can we be sure the numbers even match? I'm guessing this was added around the model year change between 1970 and 1971 series 1 cars.Sorry, don't mean to be picky.Dan Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28273-383-listed-on-ebay/?&page=2#findComment-270216 Share on other sites
January 4, 200916 yr comment_270265 A late air box, a late console.......If the engine isn't original, why would anyone spend the money on a very expensive resto? This is a $1500.00 parts car! January 5, 200916 yr comment_270325 That car is not only overpriced it is a mess. But I guess there are people that would pay the price. Just not me or any of the Z guys I know. All I can say is wow. Is this the part where you put the lipstick on the pig? Just my honest opinion. This is a prime example what e-bay can do.
