Posted May 29, 200816 yr comment_249175 i have reached the limits of the nissan L-jetronic EFI system on my green weapon. it just cant deliver enough fuel for the cam at the top end, ive done all the usual tricks but that flap airflo meter has to go! im going to run a fuel only haltech system with L28ET injectors. the throttle body on the standard injection is only 51mm or so in diameter and could be limiting in the future. does anyone know if RB30 or other throttle bodies bolt on to the L24E manifold? i got one from a CA20 but it was the same size. May 29, 200816 yr comment_249176 240SX Throttles are popular, they are 60mm. And the QH45 Throttle is 90mm. Arizonazcar and pallnet sell spacers so you can use the stock linkage with the 240sx throttle. May 30, 200816 yr comment_249233 Hi, I just brought a 60mm throttle body of a KA24e, these can be found on 2.4 liter Pintara T and Ti models, or in my case a Ford Corsair 2.4 Ghia (89-92), they are re-badged Nissan Pintaras, they have the same bolt pattern, but you would need something in between, to cover the bulge in the intake manifold. see pictures Nigel Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28284-throttle-body-upgrade/#findComment-249233 Share on other sites
May 30, 200816 yr comment_249250 I've heard the ford 65mm falcon throttle bodies (from the XE/XF type) can be adapted to fit. I think thats what Simon DeGroot has/had in his 240Z/ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28284-throttle-body-upgrade/#findComment-249250 Share on other sites

March 23, 201014 yr comment_313385 I'm still running my original throttle body, but using the KA24e TPS to connect Megasquirt too, I had to make the little adaptor plate to connect it. April 9, 201113 yr comment_352232 A cheaper way to go ITB may be to get some from a 4AGE 20v from a toyota wrecker?? grafted to a triple webber manifold??Custom itb would be mega bucks I'd say?
