June 2, 200816 yr comment_249570 Looks good. Two things though: Buffing will not get rid of the run. With runs, you carefully take a razeor blade and shave the raised part of the run off. Almost at the same angle of the panel. Be careful not to come at it with too much of an angle or you will cut into the paint. Then take some 1500 or 2000 grit and carefully wetsand by spraying water as you sand. Use a foam block as your fingers will cause un-even sanding. Then buff it and your done. In regards to your stickers. Please wait at least two months to put them on. Maybe more. Otherwise if you ever want to remove them, you will also remove the clear coat Looks like Maaco did a great job for the price. June 2, 200816 yr comment_249578 I going to try to make it as well. I am from Akron, and now live in Michigan, so the trip to Berea will be easy. June 2, 200816 yr comment_249581 The convention hotel is just straight up I-77 at I-480, and only the car show is in Berea. Some locals are just going to commute every day ( after getting 3 hours of sleep.) April 30, 200915 yr comment_282177 Great job - they stay in buisness for a reason. If the painter is good he makes good money and lays down good paint. Simple as that! May 1, 200915 yr comment_282291 I had my Audi painted at Maaco a couple weeks ago and will run the Z past them for an estimate after I do a little more body work. My wife drives the Audi and was pleased with the results. Initally there were a couple dust specks on one door and they corrected the issue to our satisfaction.Dennis Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28304-car-back-from-maacopictures-attached/?&page=3#findComment-282291 Share on other sites
