Posted June 1, 200816 yr comment_249471 Hi,New member here from Beaumont, TX area (north in Lumberton). I've been a long time Nissan enthusiast....'99 Frontier truck owner, '05 Frontier truck owner, '06 Altima owner....and now I'm setting my sights on a Z project.I'm looking to pick up a 240z/260z/280z from 1974-1978 S30 style. I'm hoping to find something I can get into for $5000 or less that runs and has no rust, or all rust repaired. I'm also hoping to pick it up before the end of the year, just getting the research started and list of things to look out for.Lots of good stuff on here and I look forward to learning more from all you guys. June 1, 200816 yr comment_249477 Welcome! With your year criteria you have eliminated the 240Z from your search(1969-1973) and focussed on the 260Z and 280Z. $5k should get you into a nice 280Z, or a good earlier car-depending on what comes up in your time frame...
