Gauging interest in engine bolts

Thanks for looking out, from what I see in your pictures I know you and your Pop are committed to quality on your restos. I was interested in the buy for that reason. I have a complete set of stainless for the entire car but was going to get the set from you for a future project. Again thank you if things change, be sure to let us know if the buy is back on....my plate is WAY too full to take up any more projects. I got a ton of extra stuff I got to sell and can't seem to find the time to list the stuff. Have a great day and keep the great pictures coming.

The prices of his (REDDAT's) items are not my issue. It's the shipping. $12 for 4 bolts. Insanity. Especially when it says $2.10 from USPS. I understand marking up shipping for your troubles. But he obviously sends this stuff out all the time so there are no "troubles"

Yep, had the same experience recently. He quoted me $10 to ship half-shaft bolts. I didn't bite and plan to call McMaster-Carr and see if they can get them. While they don't list that exact length, I expect they can supply them for a lower "total" cost.

Fastenal can get just about anything. Only problem is the 50-100 piece minimum order. You just need one of these to figure out exactly what size, length and thread pitch you need.

I could understand him charging $10 if he had a broken leg and was going to the post office just to ship your driveshaft bolts. Look at how many items he sells everyday though. I couldn't sleep at night knowing I was doing that to people.

After being told it was $20 to ship a shift knob I vowed never to give that pig a penny of my hard-earned money.

Since I have time on my hands lately I might even challenge him directly and underprice everything he sells just for fun. :D

Not only would I commend them, I would likely buy things from them. If you have some time to devote to this it shouldn't be that hard to do.

Bolt kit came today :)

All yellow zinc factory OEM nissan bolts. Well 99% were yellow zinc. Nissan stopped doing yellow zinc so a few of these are only available in silver zinc.

I am trying to see if my source wants to sell any more of these sets. He even broke them down and labeled them for convenience!!!!
