Thanks for sharing the video Ron. I was going to ask which Data system but you already answered :)

I will try to get some video up soon. I had my 1st podium finishes a couple of weeks ago and I actually had the first race on tape. Killed the battery so no go for the second race.

I still like the roadster......Thanks again for sharing.

It was funny to see that Z in Group 1. My buddy runs his in Group 3 here on the east coast.

It has to get to you when car handles so much better than the other roadster in front of you but seems to be underpowered compared to his. Or your driving skills are better than his keeping you so close in the tight sections of the track.

Great job.

FHTOM,

Thanks for your kind words. A couple of things regarding the video, the guy in the Devin special was moved down into our group, and should have run in the big bore cars. His Devin, does not handle well (or is not set up well) and the driver, leaves a lot to be desired. I suspect that the Devin was actually sent down to run with the small bore cars because he was so slow, and not a good driver...

As for the Z, Hector and I have had several close races at California Speedway. Hector asked to be moved out of Group 3 into group 2 so that he could run with us, and he was allowed to do so.

I regret the Devin being in our group, but not Hector, and we need to be fair to all parties...

In the entire Video, the Devin came up from the back of the pack to catch me and blocked me for 80% of the race, slowing down my lap times and making it all but impossible to catch Hector early on, then he got ahead of Hector and Hector had the same problem. Hector and I passed the Devin several times only to have him pass us in the next short straight...Hector as you can see in the video missed the proper set up for his tire pressures and at the end of the race wound up with a very slick car, that he could not keep on the track.

This event is the closest call I have had, as I thought Hector was going to swing back around and collect my driver side front fender. Fortunately he did not...
