In addition to asking your local mechanics, here's a good one for you:

Ask your FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL drivers.

Seriously.

I drove the zx to work a while back and the DHL driver stopped and talked to me about it. He then listed off several in the area that were just sitting idle, possibly for sale.

I would check with the foriegn repair shops. A friend of mine used to own one years ago . Always had an inventory of older sports cars sitting out back . He said the owners had walked away from them because it cost too much to fix . Thought of it because the local and only foriegn repair shop in the area usually has many cars of various makes in a fenced in area that have been sitting for awhile .
