MasterSword75 Posted July 6, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2008 Pulled out a Hitachi radio model no. KMS-3611B. This has an 8-pin connector using all 8 pins, and a 6-pin connector using 5 pins. I'm trying to find out what exactly these thirteen wires are.I downloaded a previous wiring diagram, but it only shows where 8 of the wires go. If anyone has a complete diagram, it would be extremely helpful!
zbane Posted July 6, 2008 Share #2 Posted July 6, 2008 from a 79, but I don't think the radio wiring changed. Is the unit you mention the original or an aftermarket piece?Body_Electrical.pdf
MasterSword75 Posted July 6, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted July 6, 2008 The stereo in there now is the original 1983, I'm trying to replace it with an aftermarket CD player
