Posted July 7, 200816 yr comment_252948 Was having alternator trouble with my 280 and like a fool disconnected the negative cable while running to confirm alternator. Car has not started since. I have spark and fuel to the rail. If I spray a shot of starting fluid in the intake it will start. Did i fry something by removing the cable??. My injectors do not click at all while turning over. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance, Tim Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28671-76-z-fuel-only-to-rail/ Share on other sites
July 7, 200816 yr comment_252966 I seem to be having the same problem with my car, starts with starting fluid and thats it. I downloaded the Fuel Injection manual and printed it out a couple days ago.http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techti...ectionbook.pdfHere is a link, looks to be very well written and might help you out. I am only now to the troubleshooting section. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28671-76-z-fuel-only-to-rail/#findComment-252966 Share on other sites
