Posted July 8, 200816 yr comment_253055 Im having a bit of an ignition problem, right now im getting fuel the fuel pump is running but no spark. It only does this after it has rained, Apparently I have a leak in the windshield gasket at water has ran down the passenger side kick panel. Im leaning toward the ignition transistor or a relay because I can hear intermitten clicking and it will act like it wants to fire when that happens. Does anyone know what relays or controls would be on the passenger side that would cause me to loose spark. Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28683-intermitten-no-start-help/ Share on other sites

July 8, 200816 yr comment_253077 The ignition module, the fuse box and a relay bracket are in the passenger side footwell on a 78. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28683-intermitten-no-start-help/#findComment-253077 Share on other sites
July 9, 200816 yr Author comment_253104 Well we can rule out fusible links coil ignition transistor and ecu.. I charged the battery up today then checked my fusible links they were good. So I put a ignition transistor out of a running 78 in no luck. Then swapped out the ecu and still no luck.
