moonpup Posted July 9, 2008 Author Share #15 Posted July 9, 2008 Enrique, Never could find a green decal. I thought the one I got was a 1967 production but I just went back and checked and sure enough it's a 1975 decal. Oh well...it matches the other AND maybe, just maybe, the farm judges will miss it! :nervous:

moonpup Posted July 9, 2008 Author Share #17 Posted July 9, 2008 Welcome to Nutsville...population: you... That's what I thought! Ummm...have you the collections some of us have here? No complete Z at the moment, just a whole bunch of NOS parts I bought from a dealer that wanted to get rid of them. They were for my next project, an early 70 that I unfortunately lost in a garage fire a few years back. Also lost was my truck, a 71 240 parts car and 15 years worth of other Z parts I'd been stashing away for that and other projects. (I've had the virus for a while!) So until I can get my hands on another early Z project, I guess it's tillers and whatnots for me.
EScanlon Posted July 10, 2008 Share #18 Posted July 10, 2008 Mike:I hope you did see my disclaimer of "tongue firmly in cheek". I also try to keep replacement parts year correct, but if there's a better item that isn't, better wins. That's why I have a 73 illuminated heater control panel instead of the non-illuminated 71. Same with several other items, what good is form if it doesn't function? My antenna may be from a 78, but it WORKS!FWIWE
