Thecabtsmith Posted July 15, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 15, 2008 On Craigslist in Seattle are two 71 z's for sale. I called and spoke to the owner. I didn't right down the exact numbers, but one had a high 8k build number and the other was in the 9k range. These are very early 71's. They are listed for $800 and $1000. Both apparently have good engines, but have been sitting for a number of years. I believe they have been sitting outside, but who knows???? If I had the space I would get them both for the parts alone...but I believe low number cars like these may be worth saving.I think the owner passed away and the widow is selling them. Please be kind and respectful.
Poindexter Posted July 15, 2008 Share #2 Posted July 15, 2008 They have to be very early 71's, as I have a 2/71 with a serial number of 23788. I only wish they were on the East Coast.
