July 31, 200816 yr comment_254987 ..... only ten more sleeps Make that nine...you won't be able to sleep the night before she arrives...more anticipation than waiting for a mail order bride:love: She sure presents herself well in the photos with a "nobody's messed with me look", very pretty! August 1, 200816 yr Author comment_255083 I might be a little light on the estimate - I'm still in the the mail order infatuation stage. I'm still dreaming of sliding my bulky frame into her auric pseudo leather looking fold (seats)... inserting my key.... turning her on... reving her til her oil pressure rises.... pushing her clutch in and out... rocking her for and aft... pumping her brakes forcing her to chirp in ectasy. Sorry. Yep - still in the fantasy stage. Nine more sleeps. August 20, 200816 yr comment_257371 Just don't let anybody turn the car into a Newfie dance platform, and you'll be all right....Seriously, though, you're going to share some photos of Z #3 with us when she finally arrives, right? August 20, 200816 yr Author comment_257382 Definately will post pics Brian, if she ever arrives. Next time I revive this thread there will be shots in her new home. I did however get a box of goodies from the vendor including: a set of wheel covers (three of which look brand new), a Z hotwheels - still in the box, chrome 240z pillar emblems, chrome side Datsun words, a set of tire guages (look to be in the original bag), windshield wipers and other less interesting minutia. Kinda like the Xmas stocking befor getting a look at the tree. Anyway, Hoping this week is the big one. August 28, 200816 yr Author comment_258393 She arrived and IT`s ALIVE, but what a mess - lots of shipping damage - none that would meet the criteria of the shipping contract, but enough to take the smile off your face. I am like Two face in Batman (very happy to finally see it - but pissed about the state) Anyway back to the good stuff although she is smoking, she pulls really hard. No radio and dash is cracked but the rest of the interior is impressive. Doors sound tinny when closed but they appear to be in very good shape. There are dings and scratches in the body(paint), but it does appear to be original paint. Pictures later today. (I am very excited (and pissed)) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/28749-just-bought-z-3-1973/?&page=3#findComment-258393 Share on other sites

August 28, 200816 yr comment_258426 How about this one?http://zhome.com/Ads4Z/Howey/Howey.htmrare color that is really pretty when new and shinny..Nice color, nice car. Obligatory dumb follow up question - where can you see other classified ads on your site? Do you only post them as you find or are there others listed? August 28, 200816 yr Author comment_258436 I decided to post the happy pitures first. The shipping and undisclosed presale damage has me a bit winded right now. Although it is a relatively good buy some of the things I was hoping for did not pan out - buyer beware :stupid:. I found signs of a trailer hitch:cry: - the last thing I wanted to see. Perhaps that explains pic #1. Anyway when I get out of my funk - I will post the grittier pictures.
