i have heard of boring and stroking out the l28 to 3.1 liters, but has anyone done it to the l28et(280zx turbo)?

is it possible to make a 3.1 liter turbo?

Yes that is commonly done here but for NA engines. The theory here is to gain increased compression and litre capicity I don't know if this will work for a turbo engine. I can put you in contact with someone who will know though if you want see ya.

jeffp over at www.zcar.com has a great example of a stroked turbo. ive personally rode in his car and even at only 18#'s of boost i was incredible
