For every 16 year old girl riding around in a car like mine, I imagine I'll by proxy look that much less like a slimeball, so this is great :P

...your HS has an auto shop? No way, I thought those were only in old 80s sitcoms or something.

Anyway, 280s really are the best, don't listen to anyone else B) You'll totally complete the rockabilly look by painting those wheel spokes red, LOL. Missing expensive bumper componentry is a great excuse to replace with 240/260 bumpers though :D

Welcome, you'll find a lot of useful information on this site. Nice 280Z, it looks better than when I found my 260. Now that I think about it, when I saw this ad in an old 1975 Newsweek magazine quite a few years back, I was hooked on Z cars.

:D

...well, straight girl that is...

:D

Sounds like you truly lucked out in that case LOL Seriously, the car hobby has always needed more females, men often seem to make cars into another spectator sport type event too often...

Amusing, they ALMOST managed to hide the 280 bumpers in that ad ROFL Actually I've managed to get used to and enjoy the early 280 bumpers on mine... They look more like bumpers than just decoration, in any case.
