I think that is an outragous price to pay, but the guy making them is probably putting a great deal of time into each one and then the middle man gets to bend you over. Originality aside, if there ever was a candidate for a fiberglass replacement piece, this would be near the top of the list. Also, a fiberglass battery tray area panel would be a great idea, I think. With the new panel bonding adhesives available today, these repairs could be carried out by anyone who is capable of following simple instruction. No special tools would be needed. Cheaper & easier is a good combination...we just need someone to take on the challenge.

I plan to keep it for now. Hopefully Will can get some new repros made. It sounds like he has a couple NOS ones to use as a master, but if needed I would offer mine up for that.

Does anybody know what the replacement procedure is? Can somebody synopsize? Mine could either use a replacement or patching ( depending what's under those two blobs of rubber 'patch' I see there.) :paranoid:
