Posted August 9, 200816 yr comment_255868 the broken end that's supposed to extend is meant to go into a small hole which keeps the whole link from moving around but since it's broken there's no stopping it from moving. i have some ideas of what i can do, but i wanted to hear any suggestions. thanks for anyone's help in advance. August 9, 200816 yr comment_255871 Take it to a welder and have a new section of rod welded on, grind it down and put it back on.......How on earth did it break when there is absolutely no stress on it? August 9, 200816 yr Author comment_255876 thanks for the suggestion! i have no clue how it broke. i just bought the car a month or two ago and that's how i got it. i can't complain tho cos i got 3 motors along with the car. just dropped in the motor a few days ago so i'm just putting everything together. hopefully it'll be running by next week! just ran into a few problems, but it was expected anyways. August 11, 200816 yr Author comment_256074 found a link from 280zx at the junkyard today, but i think they're shorter and the mount is different. i'm gonna see if i can fab something up. but if not i'll probably resort to welding if i can't find any older Zs in junkyards.
