The standard bumpers were plain chrome. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29042-office-tomitaku-s30z/#findComment-256894 Share on other sites
August 17, 200816 yr comment_256895 I prefer the overriders, but dislike black strips... Though either are preferable to black overriders Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29042-office-tomitaku-s30z/#findComment-256895 Share on other sites
August 17, 200816 yr comment_256896 The over-riders and rub strips were optional in Japan. The standard bumpers were plain chrome.Thanks. I had a feeling it was something like that. The Z looks a lot cleaner/sportier that way. IMO Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29042-office-tomitaku-s30z/#findComment-256896 Share on other sites
August 17, 200816 yr comment_256925 The over-riders and rub strips were optional in Japan. The standard bumpers were plain chrome. To clarify - the bumpers with rubber edging were standard equipment on 'Luxury' / 'DX' models in Japan, and the plain non-rubbered bumpers were standard on the 'Standard' / 'DS' models.Over-riders were an extra-cost catalogue option in the Japanese market.
