August 17, 200816 yr comment_256938 You have done an outstanding job Filipe! The results are beautiful and I realize the difficulty and expense of obtaining parts in Portugal. It is great that David helped you in that regard. My hat is off to him and you also for the excellent work! August 17, 200816 yr comment_256947 Very, very nice. The rebuild on that car has been a labor of love, obviously. What wheels are those, Filipe? August 17, 200816 yr Author comment_256960 Hi That wheels are the magnesium wheels that were standard on the Fairlady 432 and 432-R. Those wheels were standard in every Portuguese 240z`s car at the time. I guess they are rare and beautifull as well. I guess Alan can say a little more about that, but from another conversation with Z experts, i guess Portugal was a lucky country by have them in all Z. Many thanks to all coments here Also if you search on this forum or in Google, you will see lots of pics of the Fairlady 432 and see the wheels, they are the same. Thanks Filipe Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29075-finish-it-time-to-enjoy-now/?&page=2#findComment-256960 Share on other sites
August 17, 200816 yr comment_256967 Filipe,Are your wheels like the ones on your Z easy to find in Portugal today? I've coveted a set for quite a while, but generally gave up hope. Thanks,Jay Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29075-finish-it-time-to-enjoy-now/?&page=2#findComment-256967 Share on other sites

August 18, 200816 yr comment_257025 Hi Filipe: Your Z looks wonderful - you have to be very proud of it. When David comes to visit us in Florida - we put him to work!! Here's a picture of David sitting on a friends car - his Uncle is standing next to him. By the time they left we had the car stripped to a bare shell and ready to go to the body shop. Standing to the far right is Jim, that's his garage. FWIW, Carl B. April 29, 200915 yr comment_282128 Clean green Z man. I'll be doing mine in a similar color, and seeing this one and a few others on this site have me convinced that's a good choice. Now it's time to turn some heads and make a few people drool like only a Z can!
