Posted August 20, 200816 yr comment_257375 my 1980 280zx is dead. i put a new battery in it and it wouldnt start after running it for three days, so i knew that the alternator was bad.i went to get a new battery and also some new battery wires and terminals since mine were going bad anyway.when i installed the battery wires and hooked up all the grounds my car was still dead. no lights no nothing, complete loss of power. i have a new alternator and i have tried to find any bad fuses but im not sure what to look for, any suggestions??thanks Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29116-dead/ Share on other sites
August 20, 200816 yr comment_257380 When you replaced your battery cables did you hook up the two wires that connect to the positive cable that feed the fusible links?
