Hi Everyone. I just bought a NOS (24110-N7603) positive battery cable. They said it was for a 1978 Z but I have my doubts. Please take a look and tell me if it looks correct or not. It is about 30 inches long and says SHINAGAWA DENSEN on the cable. Now, if I got lucky and got a good one, I still need the negative and haven't been able to find one anywhere. So, if anyone has a nice one to sell send me a PM. Thanks! -Mike

I can't say for certain about a '78, but the style and construction looks very much the same as the original cable on my '71.

The package has 24110 N7603 hand written on it. This is the correct part number. But the original nissan package label says "Cable 24110 N5010."

Using the club CD, I can't find that number anywhere and thats why I am suspicious about it. Of course, it possible that its a correct cable in the wrong packaging with the correct part number written on it. So thats why I posted a pic to see if it looks right before I put it on my car.
