For the last 21/2 years I've been building a Hot Rod 240Z for a customer who had the desire and funds to build the car of his dreams and between his ideas, and money and my 45 years experience in the custom car industry,

he and I both think that this is one of the "BADDEST" 240Z's in the country.

It uses an Art Morrison 4 link back half, completely reinforced body, 6 point cage and a motor plate mounted 4-71 Supercharged 350 Chevy, Turbo-350, custom fenderwell headers and a throttle pedal that goes to "WIDE OPEN"

When I was a kid in California they called this thing an "E-Ticket Ride"

Now days we just call it "FUN PER GALLON"

Pictures will be posted soon, in the mean time check out

www.prostreetcustomsinc.com.

The site will be updating soon also.

I'll keep you posted,

Thanks, Bob

Holy crap Bob! I live in Mount Dora. Is the Z still at your place? I might drop by. Just curious what kind of 1/4 mile times it has etc. To me, it's neat to see what a "mad scientist" experiment like this can do.

Hi, all. I have cleaned up this thread, it is now (as it should be) pretty much all related to the original poster's hot rod 240Z. Unfortunately, Bob hasn't re-visited this site since early yesterday, and who can blame him? I have sent him an e-mail letting him know that we are (hopefully) back on topic, and have personally invited him to return to tell us more about his creation. I sincerely hope he isn't too browned off on the site to come back.
