Hi all,

I wanted to open a new thread asking everyone to show off their ride. Please post the following information along with a photo attachment (not a link) of your car:

1. Your Real Name & State (and/or Country)

2. Year & Series

3. Anything extra you'd like to say

4. Photo(s)

If you've already done this, or you're a regular to the site, PLEASE POST YOUR CAR... I am collecting photos for a magazine and YOU could be featured.

Mike

PS: Don't use this thread for discussions. I would like to keep it simple.

jrusso07, Is that a little Datsun Roadster trying to sneek in the photo? Sure love mine. Nice Z too.

northernz, That blue/blue combo is a rarity, take care of it. Also, keep an eye on those 'D' style wheel covers, they are worth some nice change. ;)

I posted my main Z a while back, but forgot to post pics of the 260 I picked up to race in LeMons. It was neglected and then shoved in a barn for 15 years or so before I picked it up. It's fairly rust free, but every mechanical system was shot. After two months of work and a BRE paint job using Rustoleum applied with rollers, it was ready for the track.

1973 240Z (Original Owner) and a 1986 300Z (the "new" daily driver) bought used.

I believe my 240Z may be one of the most "traveled" in the world. Purchased in Alabama while in USAF Flight School, it has traveled highways in 33 states as it was my primary ride for 28.5 years. I also took it to Bitburg AB Germany in 1974. While in Europe, it visited Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Spain (where it drove across a bridge built by the Romans ... ) and Switzerland.

Even with a mere 330,000 miles on it, many things have been rebuilt over the years and the four completely stock parts on the engine are the valve cover, pan, oil pump and water pump. I am currently collecting parts for the restoration :D.

The current daily driver is staying mostly stock and is a great cross country / long road trip car - the Koni Shocks, ST Sway Bars, Urethane Bushings, etc. in the suspension of the "old blue Datsun" make the ride a bit hard for the better half to take after a while.
