Hi all,

I wanted to open a new thread asking everyone to show off their ride. Please post the following information along with a photo attachment (not a link) of your car:

1. Your Real Name & State (and/or Country)

2. Year & Series

3. Anything extra you'd like to say

4. Photo(s)

If you've already done this, or you're a regular to the site, PLEASE POST YOUR CAR... I am collecting photos for a magazine and YOU could be featured.

Mike

PS: Don't use this thread for discussions. I would like to keep it simple.

1970 240Z, original and third owner. Like Viper Pilot, bought while at Craig AFB Aug '70 from Jack Ingram Motors Montgomary, AL.

VIN 3435, Build date 4/70, ENG 6302, Paint 904 white

Sold '73 to LT Scott Gregory going through flight school. Received letter from Scott in 1989 asking if I wanted to buy the car-yes of course. Paid $3000 same as I paid in '70 from dealer. Car sat from 1994-2007 until restoration started at rodshopofmemphis.com

Should be driving it this summer hopefully in time for Nashville.

Viper Pilot, I was a T-38 instructor in L flight and T-38 academics. Scott also stayed as a T-38 IP so I had to see my 240Z for 2 more years until I departed Craig.

See pics at www.rodshopofmemphis since Win Vista won't let me attach pics.

32,000 miles, California car, soon to be 5-speed. I'm only 19 and I can tell that I'm going to have this car forever. It really is the best car a guy could ask for.

Photos are now and in the future w/ euro taillights:)

Picking up the 240Z from the body shop.... how many people would be excited to find their car in this condition when picking up at the body shop?

We were.

I'm still a bit surprised at how lucky we were that the picture came out that good. Deanna had a heck of a time keeping the camera on the cars ahead of us, as I was throwing our car hard into the first right-hander at the time that shot was taken. And the early seatbelts with stock vinyl seats don't really hold a passenger tightly in place with both hands holding a camera. ;)
