August 30, 200816 yr comment_258665 So sad - I am a huge Phil Hill fan. As a young kid, I'd always read of his exploits in Road and Track (where, after retirement, he was a guest editor). A true man of class, he was from an era of "gentlemen" racers. God rest his soul Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29223-rip-phil-hill/#findComment-258665 Share on other sites

August 31, 200816 yr comment_258793 Phil Hill was a true American Hero. He achieved fame and success in a sport where Americans had previously fallen short. He will be missed.RIPFrank Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29223-rip-phil-hill/#findComment-258793 Share on other sites
