John Coffey Posted August 31, 2009 Share #49 Posted August 31, 2009 Well... hell... I hope you win too! Now my loyalties are divided. Tell Toby when you see him that you're running my hood and that he doesn't stand a chance in the Svenska Panzer.Another of my customers, Mike Simanyi, is running a M3 in SM. tholt29 Posted September 12, 2009 Share #58 Posted September 12, 2009 sigh... you are correct. I sold my soul to the devil. We were having troubles with my car before the event and the motor basically let go on my co drivers first run. We later found what appears to be a bent crank. I managed to get a co drive with Mark Berry in his Evo. I had never driven a rally buggy before and his was a fire breathing handful. 405 hp at the wheels. Point and squirt from gate to gate. I think I might have done better in my Z, but that car was a riot! Turned an otherwise dismal event into a lot of fun... but don't think of me as traitor, I plan to continue to fight for the Z's. Toby gave JT a good fight and might actually inspire him to get a little seat time this coming year!Tom

JTZ23 Posted September 13, 2009 Share #60 Posted September 13, 2009 John C, Now I know where Toby got his go fast advice from. You can stop giving it to him, he's fast enough!! Seriously he drove very well and he's a super nice guy to boot. I got a bit lucky this year so I am going to have to sharpen the ole skills to stay ahead of Toby and Mark and Tom and ...........Tom did a super job jumping into the Evo and turning quick times. I would assume it's not an easy car to drive really fast. Rick had some good runs as well, all in all I think the Z's made a good showing. But we can always use more in the class......
