John C, Now I know where Toby got his go fast advice from. You can stop giving it to him, he's fast enough!! Seriously he drove very well and he's a super nice guy to boot. I got a bit lucky this year so I am going to have to sharpen the ole skills to stay ahead of Toby and Mark and Tom and ...........

Being fast at this level has more to do with the driver then the car. I can't help there because I'm a mid pack guy at best. I just take credit for helping Toby make a platform that stay's out of the driver's way and let's talent shine. I'm sure if you two traded cars the results would be the same - this year talent won.

BTW... Did you have to get a bigger shelf to put all these trophies on? :-)

40 click rebound adjustable inverted Penske 8300s with custom sunken top mounts going into the back of Toby's 325. He's also working on some one-off front shocks that will retain full travel for a car a lowered as his. Toby also just dropped off the rear subframe for some additional work.

If Toby can't out drive John T, he'll out engineer him... :-)

BTW... the R75 Hoosiers are really fast.

C'mon, John! Don't taunt him!

If you tell JT the bar is getting raised he might go out and actually drive a several events prior to Nationals. Even worse, he may very well try and make HIS car faster and that's just bad news for everyone else.

... but then again, I've been trying to sneak up on him for years. Maybe psychological warfare is the way to go!
