26th-Z Posted September 10, 2008 Share #13 Posted September 10, 2008 That's interesting. HLS30-00194 for sale in Rockville MD. Completely taken apart, on a rotisserie, for $12,000. Geeze!
Carl Beck Posted September 10, 2008 Author Share #14 Posted September 10, 2008 #194 at this point would most likely be the best buy if you wanted to restore a 69. Given all the spare parts and work already done, plus the fact that it's already back East...The reduction in the total "hassle factor" alone worth $5K..FWIW,Carl B. Arne Posted September 11, 2008 Share #15 Posted September 11, 2008 I moved the larger discussion on values into a separate thread, leaving this thread for the discussion of this particular car.The larger values thread is here.
z-spec Posted September 11, 2008 Share #16 Posted September 11, 2008 Hi Gang:Anyone looking for a 69 production year 240-Z? #485 with an 11/69 build date. Second owner, where the first was the Datsun Dealer. Looks rough, but might be in good enough shape to save. Anyone near Napa, California that could go inspect the usual rust area's? Not running nor started for years, reported with 37K miles and all documents from second lady owner..Asking price of $5,200.00 seems in the ball park for an 11/ 69 Z. PM me if you are a potential buyer.FWIW,Carl B.Carl I think any early Z ( 1969/70) is worth saving , people wil look to the early cars more and more , You see it with E types , XK and Healeys as well
