September 9, 200816 yr comment_259897 "I'm glad it was a 350Z and not an S30"Bad bad attitude...I do hope the driver was ok...I think that's him in photos 21 & 22 in the red and black racing suit...3 fences...umpteen rolls...sheer insanity...Whoever built that roll cage gets to start charging a premium...those photos are built in marketing... September 9, 200816 yr comment_259899 Bad bad attitude...I do hope the driver was ok...I think that's him in photos 21 & 22 in the red and black racing suit...I'm not saying I'm happy to see a 350Z totaled like that, just that it can be replaced with a new model whereas if it had been a 240Z chances are the driver would have been injured more and the car wouldn't be as replaceable.I do believe you are correct about the driver walking to the ambulance; I had skipped over those pictures the first time through. September 10, 200816 yr comment_259919 I hope none of that stuff happens to any of the cars during ZCON....thxZBTW... If you're planning on hot-lapping at Mid-Ohio during ZCON, be sure to download & print the inspection form, and have your mechanic check your car and sign-off on the form. It'll save you time at the tech station.thxZ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29332-wild-z-ride-at-mid-ohio/#findComment-259919 Share on other sites
September 10, 200816 yr Author comment_259946 Looks like way too fast.Glad driver was alright though.I had heard that it was brake failure and what caused the flipping was when he hit the gravel trap he turned the car and it bit in. Probably a natural reaction when you are going that fast and see the wall coming.Monte Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29332-wild-z-ride-at-mid-ohio/#findComment-259946 Share on other sites
