I saw a compression tester for sale but don't know if its going to work on my car.

I have a 1975 280Z with N42.

What size compression tester should I be looking for. ?

The spark plug size is your only concern and I think that 14mm is standard. 300psi is more than enough.

I just read the box front on mine and it reads about the same and mine worked fine. You should be okay.
