Posted September 14, 200816 yr comment_260368 I just installed Toyota 4 piston calipers on my 72' 240Z. I noticed that there are no anti-squeal plates in the caliper box. Should there be?I did a search and found nothing that mentions anti-squeal plates for the Toyota calipers. Thanks, Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29370-anti-squeal-pads-on-toyota-4-piston-calipers/ Share on other sites
September 14, 200816 yr comment_260369 I don't know the part number but check with the Toyota dealer. They have a thin, spring steel spacer available. I also bought replacement pads and they only came with a packet of what is labeled "Disc Brake Noise Suppressor".
