I have been to both Bahrain and Dubai U.A.E, I have always had a great time. The guy from Bahrain was named BuDavid. He sold his Z so he has not be around for some time now.

^^ Montezuma, I hope that you are doing fine, nice to see someone keeping me in mind :)

I know that this is a two year old thread, but if at least red_dog007 trew me a PM I would've noticed it by mail.. I'll be glad to help any of the forum members here or even in eastern province in Saudi.

am sorry for not posting here for soo long, I had many things that kept me busy, in fact I jumped into a 72 corvette.. but still missing the Z though.

sorry again for kicking up old threads, but consider this a contribution to help forum members from me.

Montezuma, I

cheers.

Nice to hear that you are doing well Mohamed, it has been years. I think there was a guy rencently on this board that got his Z redone in Bahrain...I can't remember the thread too well. I think he had a bunch of Toyota guys do the work. It turned out real nice. A 72 Vette is nice but a 72Z would also be nice. I hope you get another Z soon. Take care and keep on looking in on the board. A word of advice to those who want to go to Bahrain: don't join the Army to go, join the Navy and then you will go there.

Montezuma,

yes, I never thought that I'll be stuck in a forum for that long;) I'll try to keep up posting, I do see some of our old members still sharing their valuable information which is really nice..

right now, there is no place for a Z in our house, sister grew up, brother also getting close to the driving license within couple of years, so we need a bigger garage (which we do't have) actually I have a problem selling an '88 Bimmer 635CSI to clear the garage a bit, hard to sell those bavarians here, no so popular like japanese cars.

here is a link with some photos of the vette, I spent almost 8 mounths ordering stuff and following up with the body shop. not a 100% looker, but I'm satisfied with the result, photos taken @ friends house.
