Taillight problems!

I'm haveing some trouble with my 72 240z. On the drivers side rear tail light assembly everything works great. But the passenger side brake light, and turn signal do not work. Its not the bulbs either, the socket is just not getting power. The wires going to it are not getting power. I checked the turn signal switch right under the column, and it is putting out power for the pass. side turn signal, and the front signal works fine. I'm not really trying to trouble shoot here, just trying to find a way to hotwire/bypass and run a new power wire to it. My problems are that I don't know how this system works. I see that when my brakes are applied, the same wire gets constant power that usually gets flashing power for the turn signal. Alright, but up front, right out of the turn signal switch, the wires do not have power when the brakes are applied. My question would be, how does this work? I'm sure someone can understand what I'm trying to say. I have already ran a wire from my turn signal switch to my pass. turn signal wire, but now I need to know how to wire the brake part of it, becuase if I just run a wire from the brake switch to the same turn signal wire, then my pass. turn signal will go steady when I hit my brakes right? I need help! Thanks!

BTW, tried getting a Haynes manual for it, but Advance is out of the one I need, so I have now wireing diagrams.

I had a few problems with mine as well. I wedged a bar on the floorboard to hold my break pedal down while I checked the tailights. I moved the bulb around and it would flash on then back off. Sometimes the sockets for the bulbs need to be replaced. On one side I had to splice the wires to connect a new socket connection and it solved the problem.
