I swear I've seen this discussed before, but search doesn't turn up anything. Why do most photos of members cars have the license plate blanked out or obscured? I have restored my vintage Florida plate, but am reluctant to post pics until I can get an answer to this query. TIA.

Yeah, I guess its the same as posting your home address, full name and date of birth in the photo. And even worse..it traces the car you love and put all that money into right to your house.
