Just venting my ire

Left my office to get in my Z only to find that it had been broken into and my new stereo and amp stolen... But wait theres more!!

The dash panel inset was totally destroyed along with the dash light, all connected wiring, controls etc etc etc etc.

Bad enough to be hit by thieves but incompetent ones makes it worse.

They would have been better off stealing the parts they broke and selling them on Ebay.

AAARRRRGGGGGHHH:mad:

I'm sorry to hear that as well. I've had that happen too, more than once. I finally gave up having nice stereo stuff (at least visible stuff). Some people can be a pain in the arse while they are leaching on society. Taking my money legally by way of the tax system (welfare/disability/etc.) is one thing, but directly taking my 'stuff' is quite another.

Sorry to hear about that. Crime is just getting worse in SF IMO. Albuquerque is really bad too; my cars have been broken into many times over the years. Cops here could care less. Removable faceplate stereos are pretty good for security (I like the Pioneers).

The funny thing is that you never know where you'll get hit at. I was living in an upscale apartment complex with gated access, and 24-hour security patrols, in an expensive part of town last time I got broken into. They messed up my Mitsubishi's dash pretty good and I had to go to the dealer for replacement parts ($$$).
