Posted September 27, 200816 yr comment_261846 I have a 71 240 Z (71/5). I replaced the dash wiring harness and have trouble with the turn signals and the hazard lights. The hazard flasher lights do not work. The turn signals only work if I turn the hazard switch to the on position. I have replaced the flasher. I don't hear the click when I turn the flasher switch to the on position. It seems also that the brake lights do not work. Any help is greatly appreciated.Lewis Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29514-turn-signalshazard-lights/ Share on other sites
September 28, 200816 yr comment_261867 Start checking the wiring around your Turn signal switch. The brake lights, turn signals and flasher wires go thru the T/S switch and associated wiring.also make sure that the Flasher unit is connected correctly, there is only 2 wires so it should be an easy swap and check. Check the wires of the Hazard switch, the body of that switch is fair game to gremlins. October 22, 200816 yr comment_264037 Sounds like you hazard switch might be backwards; When the hazard switch is set to on, the signals should not be able to work and vice versa.Unless your wiring is different than mine.HTH Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29514-turn-signalshazard-lights/#findComment-264037 Share on other sites
