I have noticed a unsettling problem with my suspension lately.... When I hit rough roads... Rough enough to make the tires bounce the rearend wants to move to the right... It sort of "Skitters" about an inch or so toward the curb. While this is not keeping me off hte road, I am planning a up on jack stands look at the rear suspension tomorrow. I wouldn Take any thoughts about similar issues you may have had on your cars... Thanks.

I'd like to know the reason if you find one smg1404 as my old 260 does it as well? I've noticed that if I'm changing lanes and I hit one of those lane markers (reflector thingies) on the line then it fully 'wiggles' for lack of a better word.

Anybody have any thoughts on where to start?

R.

Once I noticed on a friends Z the three nuts on the top of the strut tower (in the rear) had worked a bit loose. After tighteneing he noticed a difference. Now if he was experiencing the same thing as you is another guess. He just never noticed it due to the fact they are covered by the post cap...

Good luck and let us know, the supense of your suspension is killing me :nervous:

Still no answer.....But I have made some untested changes tonight.... I did find a big difference in tire pressure... ( I have a slow leaker front left) any way I adjusted the pressure but did not have time for a road test... maybe tomorrow... I saw some other ares of concern, but I am not sure they are serious enough, or relevant. Anyway I WILL find this and let you know....
