Need body parts for our 78 280Z

My son just boogered the front driver side of his 78 280Z. We're on our own for the repair.

Any leads on deals for the following? Used is ok.

Driver side Front Fender

Drivers side Front Headlight bucket

Headlight assembly

Drivers side Bumper side cap

front amber side marker light assembly

buy a new fender ( obveous ) or take it to a body shop if you cannot do the work you're self. I think black dragon has some body panels and another site that had sections you could weld back in, i forget that site though.

unlikely but a really good hammer and dolly job could fix most of it but a new eye socket is in order.

Then why post it? The fender is thrashed. Unless you have the skills, you'd have to pay for a 'really good hammer and dolly job' and that would cost more than a replacemnt fender. Patch panels for a 280Z fender? I've never seen them.

Check car-parts.com for a local salvage yard that may have some if not all of the pieces to save shipping and get an idea what they can be had for.

Some can be found regularly on ebay, but check shipping before ordering!

The fender and several of the parts are still available from the dealer-see if your local club has a discount-or approach the parts manager for a better price.

Here is the part number for the OEM fender, sorry didn't write down which was left and which was right because I need both.

Last check they were $253 each (three years ago.)

He's in San Bernadino, CA, as am I, and I put him in touch with the guy that has the parts he needs which are in Upland, CA, about 20 minutes away.
